This topic shows you how to create a system diagram. System diagrams are diagrams owned by the organization. This makes them available to all users with read access to the data that is running the app. System diagrams cannot be assigned or shared with specific app users.

  1. Sign in to Power Apps.

  2. Expand Data and choose Tables, select the table you want, and choose the tab Diagrams.

  3. Choose Add diagram in the toolbar.

  4. Specify the type of chart and how the data is displayed on the chart.

    • Enter the chart name, for example Number of employees by company.

    • Select from the drop-down menu Select column out.

      • Select in the axis dropdown Select columnseries a column like Number of employees out.
      • Select in the axis dropdown Select columncategory a column like Company name out.
    • Add a description to identify the purpose of the diagram, e.g. B. The number of employees with search criteria by company name is displayed in a bar chart.

  5. click on Save and close.

known problems

In the diagram designer, adding a job for certain calculated columns is not supported and will result in an error. The calculated columns that cause this use other calculated columns, a related table column, or a local column in the table.
