What are cutting tools

Cutting tools (also Cutters called) are characterized by one or many cutting wedges attached to a shaft or blade, which are used to shape a workpiece by cutting. Depending on the type of cutting process, a distinction is made between cutting tools for cutting and cutting tools for cutting production processes. Tools for CNC machines are assembled from several individual parts and documented in the tool management. In addition to this narrow definition, there are also thermal and electrical cutting devices (cutting torches and plasma cutters).
