Lyon and the surrounding area are also known for excellent wine productions. The region next to Lyon where most of the vineyards are is as Coteaux du Lyonnaiswell known and from Lyon there are many tours that visit the whole region (Coteaux du Lyonnaisare only 20 minutes from Lyon!).
