What goes well with Gorgonzola cheese

Cheese sauce with gorgonzola

This cheese sauce is a tasty side dish for your next pasta dish. A recipe with gorgonzola, parmesan and mascarpone.

Ingredients for 4 servings

3 Tbsp butter
100 G Mascarpone
250 ml Whipped cream
100 G Gorgonzola
100 G Parmesan
2 Pc egg yolk
0.5 TLsalt
0.5 TLpepper
1 Msp Cayenne pepper

Recipe preparation

  1. For the Cheese sauce with gorgonzola first heat the butter in a saucepan. Add the mascarpone and whipped cream and simmer.
  2. Then add the Gorgonzola cheese and parmesan and melt. Mix with a whisk until frothy.
  3. Finally add the egg yolks and season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
