NRW Minister of Justice Biesenbach awarded 28 trainees the title "Best Trainee in NRW 2020"

They are the best trainees in North Rhine-Westphalia. Last week, North Rhine-Westphalia Minister of Justice Peter Biesenbach awarded 28 trainees the title of “Best Trainee in North Rhine-Westphalia” from the Association of Liberal Professions in the State of North Rhine-Westphalia e. V. (VFB NW) awarded. You have completed your training as the best of your year.

On the occasion of the annual meeting of the VFB NW, the NRW Minister of Justice Biesenbach, together with the chairman of the association, Bernd Zimmer, held a virtual ceremony this year with a total of 28 of 38 award winners.

North Rhine-Westphalia Minister of Justice Peter Biesenbach congratulated the best trainees and says, “That this is a very outstanding achievement that was only possible through a strong will to perform. You are a year that has had a particularly difficult time due to Corona, which underlines your performance all the more ”. He also thanked the association for its work: “Your association and its members are of great economic importance for NRW. In addition, doctors, pharmacists, lawyers, architects, engineers and many more take on important functions in our society. This became clear in the months of the corona pandemic. They also offer more than 40,000 young people in North Rhine-Westphalia an apprenticeship position, which makes the liberal professions the third largest trainer in the state. All of these are services that go beyond the mere economic contribution of a profession. That deserves recognition "

For VFB NW chairman Zimmer, the participation of the NRW Minister of Justice was an expression of the recognition of the liberal professions and also of his trainees: “It shows the young people that efforts and special achievements are not only noticed here in North Rhine-Westphalia, but also appreciated. "Zimmer said to the trainees:" See your award as an incentive. Through their work, they contribute to ensuring, for example, health care and the legal and financial system. Your activity thus serves the common good. In our increasingly complex society, people increasingly need competent support. The highly qualified freelancers help, advise and represent neutrally and professionally independently. ”Zimmer pointed out that the chambers and associations of the liberal professions succeeded, especially during the crisis, in continuing the examination and training process solidly and consistently. "Compared to other professional groups, this has not been a sure-fire success and shows that the liberal professions system works perfectly even under extreme conditions".
